About HACCP+
HACCP+ establishes requirements for HACCP and much more: sustainability and quality assurance across the food and feed chain.
HACCP+ is a certification scheme created and operated by Belevo Sp. z o.o., Warsaw, Poland. It was designed in 2019 with auditors and consultants from food, feed, food-packaging, catering, cleaning and inspection companies, to give small and medium-sized companies a credible, independently verified food-safety certificate.
Mission
To strengthen consumer trust and promote responsible practices by verifying — without prior warning — that products and services in the food and feed chain are safe, traceable and responsibly produced.
History
2019 — design
Consultations with auditors and consultants in food safety, feed, food packaging, catering, cleaning and inspection companies.
2020 — first audits

Governance
Supervision of and all activities related to the HACCP+ certification system are carried out exclusively by Belevo Sp. z o.o. Belevo maintains the standard, approves auditors, reviews every audit result, issues certificates and keeps the public register.
Impartiality
Auditors sign a declaration of independence before each audit, cannot audit organisations they advised in the previous two years, and the auditor’s recommendation is always reviewed by Belevo before a decision. See Complaints & appeals.
